Service Description
Experience a private sound bath and sound journey in Cape Town with Jesse Gillis, delivered in the comfort of your villa or private residence. Jesse Gillis is a professional music producer and multi-instrumentalist who brings a wealth of knowledge to his craft Guided through layers of resonance, vibration, melody and ambient sound, each session is designed to encourage deep relaxation, mindful awareness and restoration. Depending on your intention, the experience can also become a full immersion combining the sound bath with meditation, breathwork and guided movement facilitated by one of our other instructors, creating a personalised sound healing experience for individuals, couples, families or private groups. Our in-villa sound baths in Cape Town can be enjoyed as a standalone wellness experience or incorporated into a bespoke wellness programme alongside yoga, meditation, massage and movement practices. The Soundscape Each sound bath and sound journey that Jesse creates is a multi-layered sonic experience, combining acoustic instruments with an electronic sound environment. The result is an immersive soundscape that can move between delicate, organic tones and deeper, atmospheric textures. Acoustic Instruments: 30" Gong - deep, resonant tones that create a spacious and immersive atmosphere 7 Crystal Singing Bowls - clear, harmonic tones and sustained resonance 3 Tibetan Singing Bowls - rich, grounding tones Chimes - delicate, melodic textures Rainstick - gentle, flowing rain-like sounds Ocean Drum - rolling sounds inspired by the movement of the ocean Flow Chime Bar Wave Bar Sansula - warm, resonant melodic tones Guitar - used very gently, creating ethereal pads, soft melodies and atmospheric textures rather than a traditional strumming sound Electronic Soundscape: The experience can also incorporate a modular synthesizer system, allowing the practitioner to create a dynamic electronic soundscape in real time. This can include: Nature recordings captured personally, including rain, streams, oceans and birds Atmospheric synthesizer pads Choir-like textures Ambient layers that complement and blend with the acoustic instruments An immersive journey, not a performance. No previous experience is required - simply settle in, relax and allow Jesse's sounds to guide the experience. * Please note the maximum group capacity is 6 people. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy: - To ensure we can provide you with the best possible service, bookings should be made at least one week in advance of your requested date and time. - Last-minute or short-notice bookings may be accommodated depending on instructor availability, but cannot be guaranteed. In such cases, times and/or dates may need to be adjusted by mutual agreement. - Rescheduling requests are subject to the same conditions as short-notice bookings. Group Size & Customisation: All services can be tailored to your preferred time, duration, and group size. Please specify your requirements when making a booking so we can personalise your experience accordingly. Cancellation Policy - A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate. - Bookings that result in a no-show will also be charged in full. Travel Policy: Our services are primarily offered within the Atlantic Seaboard, including Camps Bay, Clifton, Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, and Llandudno. Bookings outside of these areas will incur an additional travel charge, which will vary depending on the distance from these locations. Travel costs will be confirmed at the time of booking.
