Somatic Mapping

A Visual & Somatosensory Framework for Inner Navigation

Somatic Mapping™ is a method of cultivating internal cartography—a dynamic and evolving sense of one’s body, space, and sensations. Using guided awareness practices, movement meditations, and visual frameworks, this approach helps practitioners develop precision in interoception, proprioception, and felt-sense literacy.

Through mapping, we learn to track sensation, identify holding patterns, and orient through our tissues with nuance. The process creates a foundation for sustainable movement practice and personal embodiment—preparing the nervous system for integration, responsiveness, and transformation.

Mapping becomes not only a preparatory step but also a reflective one—supporting post-practice integration, injury prevention, emotional resilience, and psycho-somatic coherence.

Core principles:

  • Embodied visualization and sensory tracking

  • Interoceptive and proprioceptive refinement

  • Building a map for future movement pathways

  • Integration of emotional and physiological awareness

  • Tools for regulation and grounding
